Question / Help OBS and Youtube

I am new to OBS and trying to sync with Youtube. I can get a live stream working but my video and audio lag behind when in stream. They are fine while in the app. I am using Windows 10 14393 and the latest OBS studio. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

what do u mean with video AND audio lag behind?
it is normal that there is a delay between u recording and watching stream

if you mean your audio and video is out of sync -> there is 2 possibilities: either your voice doesnt sync with rest of video and audio OR your whole audio (your voice, and music and ingame sounds) are out of sync with video

and we need a log

ok, I was unaware because I am new. How long should the lag be?

there is a "Stream Delay" option -> so you can extent that time (when playing a competetive match csgo e.g. - so the enemy doesnt know where u r)

to be clear - with "lag behind" you mean you start your stream - its not immediately what you streamed - but 10-15s delayed?
is your audio and video sync? -> so if u play a game and there is an explosion - is it synced (audio and video "fit") or is the audio delayed?

or do u mean u listen to music (Desktop Audio) and you are singing (with your microphone) and your voice lags behind you music?
