Question / Help OBS and Sony Vegas

Hey this doesn't really have to do anything with OBS but I recently got Sony Vegas 14 and its great.
However, I am currently using the Xbox 360 recorder that is built into windows 10 computers.

When I place the video file into Sony Vegas it lags extremely hard. However, when I play it when it is out Sony Vegas it is a perfect video.

Now when I record with OBS I get the error "Encoder overloaded" I lowered my settings but I still get random lag spikes.


Could some explain to me how I can fix this?


I really want to upload high quality content and use sony vegas

The preview window for Sony Vegas is pretty bad. Above the preview window, drop the quality for the preview and it shouldn't lag nearly as much, if at all.

At least, that's the most common problem it seems.
