Question / Help OBS and Skype

OBS recognizes that Skype is producing audio, the green audio bar bounces when my friends speak. However, when I actually record with the program, I can only hear myself and the game. I'm super frustrated and afraid it might have to do with my use of equalizer APO. (Using it to fix the buggy Logitech G633 headset, without drivers its too loud, with drivers they constantly crash/reset).

As I said, it is showing Skype is producing audio.

I have everything configured correctly and I do not know if this is a recent development. Not sure if it is important but this is the same for other recording programs too: (Action!, Fraps etc.)

I have attached the most recent log file and uploaded it as I'm new here :P

I seem to have located the issue:

My Logitech G633 headset's base volume is too loud, nearly 45 decibels too loud. Updating drivers does nothing and Logitech support is woefully unresponsive and generally useless. To fix this I use a program called Equalizer APO to set the native volume to -45 db. This however makes Skype too quiet for OBS to record, yet, I can hear Skype just fine.

Hope this information narrowed a solution down!
