Hello!
First of all, I'd like to say that I'm sorry if a thread like mine was already written. I've been looking for answers for a good few days, maybe I'm just bad with guugl :P
So I've been streaming for a few months already, and while I started streaming Battlefield 3 I noticed that my CPU is dying while streaming+playing. That's when I became interested in quicksync.
I managed to enable it and stream with it: http://pl.twitch.tv/highstyled/b/484712236 - it's a bit blurred, but I guess it's just because my bitrate is set to 2500 only.
I've got another problem though: Window Capture doesn't seem to work properly. For example: sometimes it captures only desktop, doesn't matter if the game is on borderless and is active, OBS just captures the desktop. Is that normal? Without QuickSync it seemed really stable, and captured only what I wanted. When streaming League of Legends, it captures the game, but also captures the desktop if it's minimised - it never happened before I turned on quicksync.
It's probably because of the two monitor setup I had to set, to turn QS on. But anyways, is there anything I can do, to make streaming with QS as smooth as without it?
also:
I no longer can overlay twitch chat on my stream. I used to window capture the chat popout, but now, if I'm playing any game and the chat isn't on top of my screen, it's not working properly.
The game capture option sometimes just seems to stop working in the middle of my stream. Yesterday I played BF4 with game capture, it was very good. Later I turned BF4 off and on (server switch) and Game Capture stopped working, it had no effect when turned on. It also didn't work with League of Legends.
League of Legends - massive FPS drop when using borderless now. I used to play without any problems, but since I added second fake monitor in Windows, it's getting pretty bad.
Maybe I've set something wrong in windows display options or in OBS?
