I've got a Canon SL2 (D200) camera and would like to add an external microphone for my speaker/presenter.
I've seen the Rode Videomicro pro which sits on the top of the camera and connected to the cam via a 3.5mm headphone jack, but does this work with OBS?
Is there a preferred mic solution for broadcasting live with 1 speaker for folks with a similar setup with an SLR?
I "do" have access to both XLR and 6.5mm jack based Microphones, but I would need to put this through an audio card like this an MAudio Mtrack (https://www.mannys.com.au/m-audio-m...o-midi-interface?SearchID=1821296&SearchPos=1) which I haven't bought.
Just wantint to see if there is a cheaper alternative for a mic that I can literally get the speaer to wear around his head/ear with the microphone directly near their mouth.
Any ideas?
