Question / Help OBS and LoL

Okay so basically the issue I'm having is with downloading OBS. So I'm getting the error message:

C:\Program Files (x86)\OBS\plugins\GraphicsCapture\GraphicsCaptureHook.dll

and I'm not sure what to do. I'm currently ignoring the error message but that only brings up a new problem. I can't stream LoL very easily anymore, like the way I used to. I used to just setup one Scene with two Sources. The Sources would be one for 'out of game' and the other is for 'during game,' and it worked just fine. Now, every time i log into new game I have to add another Scene and go back to the LoL scene for my stream to appear. It's quiet frustrating to deal with and I would appreciate some assistance.

What are you doing to get that error message? Usually that message is accompanied by more text, and often encountered when trying to uninstall because the game capture hook is still active.

Riot changed LoL so that the one-scene method doesn't work anymore. The best way to stream LoL is to set up 2 scenes. First, keep Aero enabled. Then, in the first scene, have a Window Capture of the LoL client, and in the second scene, have a Game Capture of the actual LoL game. Then use the Simple Scene Switcher to automatically swap between them: https://obsproject.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=1785 Avoid Monitor capture altogether.

I uninstalled OBS because I stopped streaming for a while and then re downloaded it to stream again. When I was downloading, that's when I got that error. Currently to make the stream work flawlessly, I put my LoL in game client on windowed borderless and set up the monitor capture source and it captures all of it no problem. However, this displays my screen as well which I don't want.

Also, whats Aero and Simple Scene Switcher?

The Simple Scene Switcher is what I linked to. It's a plugin that switches what scene you're looking at based on the active window.

Aero is the Windows theme that makes things look shiny and translucent and nicely-animated. It also makes Window capture work very fast, and is necessary for capturing individual windows instead of weeing everything at a time.
