Question / Help OBS and HDPVR 2

Hello I am new to the forums and wish to use OBS for livestreaming as I heard it's a great for streaming. I have a Hauppauge HD PVR 2, in which i'm aware that it is not compatible with OBS as a Video Game Capture device and the only way to record is with using the Window Capture onto a running application of Hauppauge Capture, Arcsoft, etc. But the one concern I have would be audio, as you'd need to unmute the capture application for obs to pick up the sound from the window capture, but would cause an echo from your microphone if I'm correct. Is there any solution to go about fixing this. Thanks

Also, if there's a member of staff reading, can you enlighten me about whether you are going to make Hauppauge's products compatible with your software and is there any progress on it. Because I remember reading forums that were a few years old stating that they are.

Thanks in advance

I'm using the 0.5.1.114 which is a beta and hauppauge works however we cannot delay the mic output or facecam, does this latest build allow that?

So happy to see this finally supporting hauppauge as I was ready to trade in my HD PVR 2 as it didn't work with OSB

You can't delay audio yet, as far as I know. I think you can at least delay the webcam, for what that's worth.

You should be able to delay the audio through the advanced audio properties. (Edit > Advanced Audio Properties)
But there is no delay/buffer for webcam/directshow video yet.
Just make sure you use 0.7.2 instead of 0.5.1.

Oh, then maybe it's the other way around, not being able to add a buffer to webcams? I can't remember...maybe I should download it and look at it at some point...
