Question / Help OBS and HDMI Capture Card?

So I have this Sony HD Handycam. Right now I use it with a RCA Composite Grabber with OBS, but it's low resolution. Works ok but I am wondering if it would work with OBS and an HDMI capture card or an HDMI grabber?

Whatever the capture card is called, you can select the device under video capture devices in sources section after a scene is made.
