Heya guys,
Just recently upgraded from a AVerMedia USB HD DVR to the Elgato Game Cap just so I can use OBS! I hated Xsplit but it was the only thing that could stream from the AVerMedia, and I loved OBS for streaming LoL and anything PC in general as it felt like it was less of a strain on my computer, and better performance overall.
Seems as if i've ran into a bit of a wall here though.
OBS won't let me get a 1080p feed, only 720p. I get red screened on 1080p (only on OBS, Xsplit runs fine with 1080p) and it seems either my computer or OBS can't get a 60 fps feed off 720p as well. Which is fine as the cap card itself seems to be locked onto 30 fps whether i'm trying to stream off Xsplit or record with their own software (it says its at 30fps in the info tabs within their settings window.)
Any ideas? Also, as Jim points out you must "Use Buffering" in the options within OBS, but he didn't mention a setting in terms of what the millisecond value should be.
