Question / Help OBS always glitching

This probably the worst video recording software i have ever used. I can never get this app to work no matter what i do. Every time i record OBS isn't picking up my voice and i don't know why. The volume bar moves when i talk but it isn't being applied to the output video. I have the audio tracks on seperate tracks and when i first tested it it worked fine but now it doesn't work, i might just give up at this point and uninstall because i can never get OBS to work.
 
Try starting with the basics (eg everything on a single track) and get it working right before moving to advanced features.
 
If you record to multiple audio tracks, keep in mind that players play back one track at a time only. You have to switch tracks in the playback options of the player. A player will never mix multiple tracks and enable you to listen to both.
