OBS alternative

[another software problem]

I have OBS installed on a W10 and it records the screen and videos excellent but not detecting any games like Hot Wheels unleashed that I'm trying to record.
OBS is not detecting games when start recording.
I need a another option to try is there a recommendation similar to OBS so i don't have to try them all.

You more likely have conflicting software running on your system blocking OBS from capturing your game
rather than just immediately giving up on the game, try following the game capture troubleshooting guide first and provide a log from a session of obs where you tried to game capture the game if that doesn't work.

I installed and tried Camstudio.
I then uninstalled Camstudio immediately.
Back to giving OBS another go.

i did try game capture mode with OBS and it records audio but i get the "black screen" that i have been reading about.
I'm sure i'll find what's causing it.
