Question / Help OBS(actual software) looks messed up!

So ever since I got my alienware 17 laptop and downloaded OBS the software has looked squished and compressed and I have no idea why. It's causing me to be unable to see certain parts of the software. Attached is an image of what I'm talking about.

Adjust your DPI Scaling to default or 100%.

Okay, so what I'm experiencing is that my computer naturally wants the scaling at 250%. When I lower it the icons and text become so small it is almost unusable, the obs looks better but the only way to get a better sized icon is to lower the resolution from the preferred 4k setting

Switching to studio does not allow me to use the overlay system I do. Until I can create my own overlays or get someone to do it for me I can't switch to studio. OBS original works perfectly besides being squished
