Your CPU is from 2008. Your graphics card (chipset) is from 2007. I don't think your computer can run OBS Studio.

Your video card or its drivers are below minimum system requirements for OBS.
DirectX 10.1 or OpenGL 3.2 are REQUIRED both in the drivers and the video card.

OBS Studio requires DirectX 10.1* or OpenGL 3.2 hardware support to run.

Your OBS log doesn't even show a graphics card. If you do have one, it is likely too old to support the DirectX or OpenGL levels that OBS requires.

Your graphics card only supports DirectX 9.0c and OpenGL 2.1. It does not support a high enough level of DirectX or OpenGL.



* I've seen a few different answers on the required level of DirectX support (10.0, 10.1, 11.0). I'm looking into the exact minimum.

You cannot download hardware support for specific versions of DirectX or OpenGL.

You're on a laptop, so you can't really install a new graphics card. Even if you could, your CPU is so old and underpowered for the task of live encoding video, that I would just recommend a new computer.

VMWare virtual GPUs don't support the DirectX features OBS needs to work. Generally speaking, you can't run OBS on a VM.
