Hello people, first of all I'd like to say I've happily used OBS for a while, and decided to give Multiplatform a try.
When installing the program I just picked a folder on my hard drive (didn't install on my ssd, I don't think it would make a difference though), and at the end of the install process, I ticked the "run obs now" box and OBS (32 bit I'd assume? Is that the default one?) ran without problems.
The first log I uploaded is that one, the time I ran it right from the setup, which, again, had no issues.
I tried to run OBS 32 bit a second time through my start menu and it gave me an error message like this:
I don't see why it would give such an error message, since that final "64" leads me to believe that this would be necessary for the 64 bit version of OBS Multiplatform. In fact, if I click ok, the 32 bit OBS runs just fine.
But if I try running the 64 bit version of OBS, this happens:
and as soon as I click ok, the error message disappears and OBS doesn't run. I'd like to point out that no log file is created in that occasion, so I really wouldn't know how to prove this. No window appears, when I open the 64 bit exe this is the only thing that pops up. Strangely enough, it worked fine on previous versions of OBS Multiplatform.
Could some program I am running be in conflict with OBS?
I'd gladly appreciate some help, I am clueless, and I haven't seen a problem like mine anywhere on the forums.
Thanks in advance,
Edoardo.
