OBS 29.1 & Apple VT Soft/Hardware Encoder Problem

I have discovered that I can no longer OUTPUT via Apple VT Software or Hardware Encoders when broadcasting to Twitch.
I can RECORD via Apple VT Encoders.
Switching to x264 Encoder does broadcast to Twitch, but it is not preferential as the CPU is burdened by game software (Minecraft) and other streaming necessities.

Is this a bug / known issue? Is there a workaround available other than the x264 encoder?

Yes, I have the same issue. Prevented me from switching to 29.1. I hope for bugfix too. I use MacOS 13.3.1 and an Intel iMac from 2019.

Yup, same issue. It’s an issue with Intel Macs. I went into the discord a few days ago and one of the devs had me test out an unstable version which fixes the problem. They said it will be fixed in the next official release. Stick with 29.0.2 till then.

I cant get 4k/60 it crashes "overloading" with HECV or H264 Hardware encoders on both M1PRO and M4PRO.... i can only "record" using Apple ProRes hardware encoder Ive googled until the end of the universe and got nothing. I thought upgrading to M4 would help... it did not. I have to turn my ouput setting under 4k/60 to use those hardware encorders.... any help would be appreciated.
