I updated to the new OBS 29 version in Homebrew on my Macbook M1 and selected the new hardware HEVC option, 4k video size, AAC, .mkv and automatically remux to .mp4 to record the screen. I am able to import into FCPX but when I go to export, the export fails with corruption issues. The message looks something like:

The operation could not be completed because an error occurred when creating frame 0 (Error (10008): processing frame. “chime“ cannot be rendered at 00:00:00:00.
Error (-17694 c)“CHIME1.mp4“ cannot be rendered at 00:00:19:22.).

I have disabled some of the clips and error still keeps happening. I also notice that the audio has some artifacts like some popping or static sounds that it previously did not have in the prior version. I am able to export just fine in the latest Davinci Resolve 18.

The previous OBS version I had was 28.X and I would export 4k, h.264, AAC, and mp4. I had no issues with audio artifacts or exporting in FCPX. I am using the latest Mac OS Ventura 13.4.

When I switch to h.264 hardware encoding I have no issues. The issue only occurs when h.265 hardware encoding selected. I haven't tried software encoding.
