Most of my other games, I can stream really well, with this one, something is going on really bad.
First OBS uses 25% GPU just launching. This is whatever game I am streaming, doesn't matter. How do I lower the GPU usage of OBS just sitting there idle?
I have tried launching it as Admin and a bunch of other things I have read / watched on the internet, and it always is using 25%. Also there was a video to set some Nvidia settings, tried that also. No dice to get it to stop using 25% GPU just sitting there.
Then when I launch Mount and Blade II Bannerlord, and I am not streaming yet OBS GPU Usage goes up to 95%. Note I am not streaming yet, and you can see that bannerlord is not using much CPU at all, in fact just sitting in the menus:
If I start streaming, my second video card (I have OBS set to use that video card to stream) I use 10% of that GPU as it's streaming, but because the main OBS process is eating up 95% of my GPU I simply can't stream using this method (audio gets choppy, graphics are lagged, etc.). My CPU is usually around 57% at this point. (I have an AMD Ryzen 9 3900x)
Anyone have some suggestions I could use to stop OBS using up so much CPU just sitting there or when the game is launched and I am not even streaming yet?
