OBS 28.1.2 Failed to open NVENC codec: Unknown error occurred

Show when starting live broadcast or recording Failed to open NVENC codec: Unknown error occurred(using NVENC H.264).
Attempted to update and reinstall the graphics card driver and the reverse version.

Change your color format in OBS' settings - advanced back to NV12 with color space of 709 and color range of limited.

I too have just experienced a problem with not being able to record in OBS though my Intensity Pro 4K, not been a problem over the last year till today.

The virtual camera works for Zoom and Microsoft Teams, but I can not record to my desktop. I have plenty of space, but for some reason it is not allowing me to record.

I was able to correct the issue by downloading the latest version of driver for the NVIDIA card in my machine. it was not an issue with my capture card.
