OBS 28.1.2 and MacOS Monterey

Trying to run the latest version of OBS on a MacBook Air running OS 12.6.1, and running in to a few issues. I can get clean video from my capture device, but no audio will come through to OBS. The computer itself recognizes the incoming audio signal form the device, but there seems to be a disconnect between there and OBS. Capture device is the AVerMedia ExtremeCap UVC BU110, and we're capturing video/Audio from a Blackmagic Design Hyperdeck via HDMI out.

To make things more confusing (possibly), while using the latest OBS on an iMac that is running Catalina (OS 10.15.7), there are no problems with video or audio. Both come through without any problems.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sounds like you need virtual cable to rout the audio on the MacBook Air. Can you see the audio meter when you select the source? because you can try adding it as an audio capture form the Hyperdeck. Also create a MIDI multi output device with the hyperdeck and any other sound source you would want to include in the stream, then select it as the audio output preference.
