Greetings!

I'm one of those users who still get crashes after closing OBS. I get this error:

Afaik I updated my plugins and addons with update 28 and hoped for a change at 28.1.1. After that (and still getting these errors) i removed my VST-plugins and Advanced Scene Switcher, made sure all is new and removed unnecessary scenes. I still get this error.

The Log:

My suspicion after looking at the log though is that it is likely caused by streamFX. i cannot prove it, but myself and at least 2 other people i know of have the same issue, best i can tell streamFX is what we all have in common.

The only time I use StreamFX is the use of a mirror source to simulate indirect lighting for my avatar (as a vtuber). I simply try to remove it and see if it works.
Are there any known issues with AMD-drivers or else? After reading the log for myself again i stumbled over this and wondered if this happens because of my AMD-setup.

i don't think so, but i am not 100% sure either. i think that those are because you don't have a nvidia gpu, streamFX (and obs) tries to detect hardware installed in your system to ensure that it uses the proper drivers etc. in the case of streamFX it appears that certain features depend on the nvidia platform in order to work, so in your case with an AMD gpu it is skipping those modules which in turn causes the failure that is displayed when it attempts to load another element of that feature.

Alright, after deinstalling StreamFX i get no more errors. Looks like that was the issue and i need to look for an alternative. Thank you for your help!
