So what's happening, as far as I can tell, is GoTo's client tries to initialize the OBS Virtual Camera and fails. This seems special because the web site version of GoToMeeting works fine and as far as I can tell the new built-in (not plugin) virtual camera works fine with everything else I use. Notably the OBS version 26 with the plugin does not exhibit this problem, so it seems like the plugin was doing something that the built-in is not. Since it's just GoToMeeting I'd say it's probably their problem, but then again it works fine with the old version so IDK just figured I'd share.
The easy solution for me looks like I should just go reinstall with an older version of OBS because on this computer the virtual camera for meetings is what I need, but in searching around about this problem it seems like there are others with similar troubles, so I thought I'd try to contribute.
