OBS 27 update - Anyone noticed that their CPU Usage has increased since update

CPU usage way up since update ... Didn't change anything , except for installing this update.

For me the issue was I think i was using a laptop and using my laptop GPU instead of the Graphic card for OBS because of Windows capture issues prior to this update... With this update , i was able to resolve by switching to my Graphic card for OBS. I did notice the Game Capture issue with my thing aswell, I resolved that by unchecking SLI / Crossfire Capture Mode ( Slow ) .

Yes, I also experienced the same thing. i just opened OBS not streaming not recording and HIGH CPU Usage on 100%, and i close OBS under 20%,

AND... I now get an error message;
"Failed to open NVENC codec: Generic error in an external Library. Check your vid drivers etc etc etc..
So for our competition, I switched to Software x264 and it worked, but I believe the stream was not optimal. As I was recommended to use NVENC.

Anyone else ..??

Yep, same here. Is a huge problem, especially since I'm live-streaming music off a laptop. See twitch.tv/zapandersson
What helped at first: Switching OBS to the 2nd GPU. Yay.
However, then my machine started thermal-throttling, which made the music go all crackly. You can see me debug this fun stuff right here

Any ideas why this is happening, and will it be fixed? Or do I need to go back to 26
