OBS 27 Streamlabs Chatbox not work

hi my Streamlabs chat box no longer works since the last obs update. On the Streamlabs website the chatbox works when I test it but does not work in the OBS source.

At first I thought it was due to the new Java update I made but I uninstalled Java and the Streamlabs Chatbox still doesn't work.

I haven't changed anything at Streamlabs, the sources or obs, only updated OBS and Java 2 days ago.

Sorry to hear you are having an issue with Streamlabs!

For the step about the browser, you would want to delete the OBS Browser folder.

OBS Studio

Hit the Windows key + R

Paste the following and hit enter: %appdata%/obs-studio/plugin_config/obs-browser

Delete the folder, then re-open the software and add your chatbox source


When you added a new URL for the Chatbox, did you delete your existing Chatbox source first, and then add the new URL as a new source, or did you just replace the existing source? If you only replaced the source, I would suggest delete the current chatbox browser source. Then create a new browser source and add the chatbox widget.

Sometimes Browser Hardware Acceleration may cause this issue. Please uncheck browser hardware acceleration

AS you are on OBS Studio, go to Settings > Advanced > Sources:
