Question / Help OBS 19.0.2 Encoding Problem and Skipped Frames in Video

When I press record it says "Encoding overloaded! Consider turning down video settings or using a faster encoding preset."
and after the video has been recorded and I click stop recording the video comes out choppy and laggy and skips/freezes at many frames.

It seems that your CPU is simply underpowered and can't encode and game at the same time. One option is to increase the process priority OBS has to High, another is to use QuickSync (which according to Intel ARK should be supported).
