Question / Help obs 17.0.1 crash on start (only 32bit) (17.0.2 too)

i updated obs from 17 to 17.0.1
but obs insta-crash after start. this only happen with the 32bit executable, the 64bit open just fine.

i use the 32bit ,because the 64bit make my stream go out of sync after a few hours. so switch to 64bit is not a solution.

here is the crash report:


update: installed 17.0.2 , but still crashing

its obs with browser
here is the log file, its says:
17:19:09.839: Required module function 'obs_module_load' in module '../../obs-plugins/32bit/chrome_elf.dll' not found, loading of module failed

i checked the folder and the .dll its there. why obs says 'not found'?
is that why obs crash?

Probably, you can start OBS Studio if you delete (or move to other new folder on your PC) the "enc-amf.dll" file from the obs-plugins\32bit directory. This should avoid AMD VCE plugin load.

Have you had AMD card installed for this PC (at least once)?

And maybe @Xaymar knows more (it doesn't rises such error on my PC).
 
If the AMF encoder is trying to load, that means you have remnants of the AMD driver on your system. Make sure you uninstall any AMD Catalyst or related drivers/config utilities from your system.

ps. yes , i had an amd card last year on this pc.
 
I'm having trouble updating my obs, this seems like a similar situation. but during install obs cant write this file = Qt5core.dll any suggestions?

This is completely unrelated to this thread, in the future please do not post in other threads, create your own or use the search function.

Your error means you didn't close OBS before trying to update.
