Question / Help OBS 12.0.1 Minecraft lags horrible.

Hi
First i would love to say ty for this great software ;)
I started to use it a month ago while I was trying around different software for video capturing and video editing.

My problems are these when i try to record Minecraft sessions.
1. The colors are pale when I watch my recordings from eg minecraft.
My settings are: Color format - NV12 ; YUC color space - 709 and range FULL

2. When I try to record Minecraft play (no stream, record locally) the games - video lags horrible. All is fine while I record but when I open the .mp4 file in a player eg VLC the movie lags and stutters horrible.

I recorded other games as well like EVE-online and DOTA2 and those movies where spotless :D So it seems its related to Minecraft.

Use simple output mode indistinguishable recording quality instead of your current (terrible) settings.

Hi Harold
I did as you said and im down to 5 drops out of 1465. So ill stick with simple then. I followed a guide from you tube to get some input for settings.
Any advice when it comes to the color?
Ty again for quick reply :D

nv12 partial color space. Most players are expecting partial and will cause color distortion when you use full.

So now when I use simple mode it didnt record my voice (microphone) it just recorded the game sound. I have the same settings else where.
So im missing one audio channel - Microphone atm

edit - advanced audio properties
Make sure that the mic is enabled on all tracks the desktop audio is on

Ty Harold
Yes that did the trick but and a abig but is that i want them seperated which i succeded doing when using advanced options. Now they are record together in one track. I want to be able to adjust volume etc on them independent...so can i do this with simple settings or do i have to go advanced again.

Ty
I did as guide said and I hope graphic settings r as easy setup...cause i havent touched that now...just sound channels :)
Can u confirm if u go from easy to advanced it has some default setups or is as u left it last time.

Its strange though that its only when i record Minecraft I have to choose simple and with oter games i can go all in with quality.
Has anyone else experienced this?
