Hi, I have a problem with OBS, whenever I want to record Rocket League ( didn't try another game yet) I get this problem trying to record my game, whenever and even before I want to try and record Rocket League I get like 10 fps with 1 percent cpu usage.
GPU: 1060 NVIDIA 6 gig ram
CPU AMD Ryzen 5 1600
Ram something with 3000 ghz its compatible with my CPU.

Now, I did try and lower the settings, bitrare, resolutions. Still same result, I also tried CPU encoding wich didnt help either. I tried priority on high, didnt help either. I tried lowering in-game graphics, didnt help. Basicly I tried alot with settings and nothing helped.

I uploaded my screenshots to imgur since uploading images on this site aint working for me.

alright then it isn't the hdd bottle necking you. Also check if you have shadowplay turned on. if it is turn it off or uninstall geforce. you don't really need it for anything.

Well, I do need Geforce since u need it for Games they optimize ur GPU for games in that driver. So I don't know what ur talking about? And no Shadowplay is activated, but I don't record with it when I want to use OBS so thats not the problem.

you can optimize your games better by yourself. geforce is known for lagging and just being shit. but if you feel like keeping it go wild.

Ye but gpu drivers shouldn't be the problem here since I only have 1 percent cpu usage. I also have only 20 percent usage in-game so my cpu is definetly not a bottleneck. + Alot of youtubers have Nvidia geforce installed whilst recording with OBS

15:32:29.700: Warning: OBS is already running!

Why is there multiple instances of OBS Studio running? Also there is no recording attempt showing on that log. Please do a recording session for a few minutes, stop the recording afterwards, and then post a new log.

I will record later today and post the log! The multiple openings was a little fault of me. But even if i have 1 obs instance open it only shows 10 fps in the preview. I dont even have to record because in the preview on the screen it already shows 1 percent cpu usage and 10 fps or something. I get an encoder error aswell if I actually record. But turning down the settings wont get it away. But I will show the log later today when I recorded. Thanks for replying

This is the first one with my original settings, turns out with recording it does a little bit better but still an encoding error. I will post 2 more logs after this where I used my cpu encoder and turned down the bitrate but still the same problem percists. I get a non-steady 40 fps right now, I would like to have 60 fps with reasonable quality for youtube, how to remove this encoding error? Turning down bitrate doesnt help. And I don't wanna have garbage quality since people with my build can handle obs pretty well ( have looked it up)
*Edit with the cpu encoder it however does use 20 percent of my cpu, and with gpu barely 2-1 percent

CPU with fast preset and low bitrate, still the same encoding error.
And same problem with recording fps. Note in the actual game I reach 200 fps, but in the recording itself its 30-50 very unstable aswell.

I believe I got the same issue, I get like 100FPS with OBS open & 80FPS while recording. But with OBS closed and Shadowplay recording I get 250FPS (using the same encoder).

I've tried older versions, reinstalling, changing settings and troubleshooting, but keep getting really low fps while OBS is open. :(

Edit: Fixed, GPU wasn't plugged in properly and was running PCIe 1x instead of 16x.
