I have an Elgato Game Capture HD hooked up to a laptop running Windows 10 with OBS 0.655b.
After a matter of minutes of recording or streaming, the game capture feed is extremely choppy, tearing badly and then freezes for long periods of time. This is both video and audio. This wasn't an issue under Windows 7 that I had installed on the machine prior.
I have tested prolonged recording in the native Elgato software and had no issues and all other sources in OBS, such as scrolling text and non-game audio, are fine. The fact that the video is fine inside the native software and also the pass through feed is also good leads me to believe that the Elgato is actually functioning correctly.
I know you're working hard to complete support for the latest Windows operating system but are you aware of anything that I might be able to do to alleviate this issue?
