I have had countless, countless issues with OBS over the years.
Recently it's just gotten literally unusable. No. REALLY.
As a *daily* streamer, It's VERY frustrating to have OBS keep crashing every 5 seconds, or having the KBPs hit 0 without crashing and having to restart the stream. How can I expect to stream regularly when the software I rely on does this?
I was running version 0.16.2 since it was release. Up until last night, I had no problems. After I tried updating my graphics card drives (due to unrelated issues with my computer) I had trouble, so, logically. I updated. At first I noticed weirdness with the encoding leaving strange artifacts in the bottom right of my stream (unsure if encoding issue, or directly webcam issue, since that's where my webcam sits). Then, after about 15 minutes, my KBPs hit 0. Still connected to the game server, still downloading the (remaining) data from my stream, OBS just stopped doing anything.
At that point, I tried to go into the settings, adjust the bitrate, but as soon as I hit Apply, the entire program frozen and I ended up having to force-stop it with Task Manager.
It's worth noting that the same file caused the error every time "atiumdva.dll". If someone could tell me what specifically this file is doing, it might help me avoid this error, or gleam more information as to how I'm causing it.
These are the 4 crash reports related to this issue. I believe the 3rd one was when I had the 0KBPs error, though I was so frustrated, I can hardly remember. Posted descending, from oldest to newest.
