Nvidia Surround/Eyefinity Detection

Hey there,

I would like to suggest an implementation of the way nvidia surround/eyefinity is detected when recording or streaming.

I previously created a twitchtips post on how to broadcast with this display configuration but I was thinking, it'd be great if it could just be detected automatically when in a multi-display resolution, ie: 5760x1080, 7680x1440, etc and be confined to the middle display without black bars.

Look forward to your replies.

Interesting. Outside of just detecting the abnormal aspect ratio I don't know how easy it is to handle that situation. Does it treat the monitors all as a single monitor? If so that could be an issue.

I had a stream in pure eyefinity once. It was... something my viewers didn't really like. They don't like wide angle views, and I figured out that showing only middle monitor on stream works way better. Or you can add black strips to the virtual borders to separate what's going on.

But the viewers don't like to see tri-monitor config it on a single monitor...
