Question / Help Nvidia NVENC Help Please!

I've recently downloaded OBS and I'm not good with computer codings, encodings, ect. I watched videos how to make OBS faster and they all said take off the default encoding with Nvidia NVENC, but they simply just clicked the button and simple as that. Except for me I don't have Nvidia NVENC and I've been trying to google how to but as close as I got was downloading Nvidia and it didn't have anything related to Nvidia NVENC. Configuration: I've got Windows 8 Pavilion g6 laptop, I downloaded the right OBS (I downloaded the wrong one first and it didn't open so that's how I know). I can open OBS and record any everything but I of course want as much FPS as I can.

What video card do you have? You need an nVidia GPU that supports NVENC to use it. (NVENC = NVidia ENCoder)

Also be aware, NVENC quality is *extremely* low, and generally looks very bad if you can use any other option, other than just for recording locally (where you can use a lot of bitrate to overcome the badness).

Which Encoder do you recommend? Encoder x264 (Deafult), Quick Sync, or Nvidia NVENC? Any other settings you recommend me to change? I plan on recording mainly Steam games such as Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Dead Realm, ect.
I meant to go into my laptop info and put more configuration info in there about my pc but here it is: Processor: AMD A6-4400M APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics 2.70 GHz
RAM: 4 GB
System type: 64-bit Operating System, x64-based processor.
I don't know what I'm required info I have to give you for help so just tell me and I'll do my best to attempt to figure out the answer, (I find my answers in my system but google where to find it). Also if you think my laptop has bad stuff such as RAM, FPS, ect. I didn't know anything about PCs until I bought it. I'm currently going to make my own PC (With help of someone who knows what they're doing) and I'm using this as my test so I'll know what I'm doing like "Adobe is good for video editing but remember to click no to recommended programs" ect.

You don't have an nVidia card at all, so can't use NVENC.
You don't have an Intel GPU with a QSV-capable iGPU, so QuickSync is out too. Not a problem, hardware encoders are low-quality anyway.

x264 really is the way to go, delivers the best quality... but it's very CPU-heavy. And AMD APUs are.. 'anemic', to put it politely.

Grab the side-branch of OBS with VCE support (google OBS VCE). It's still lower quality than x264 (as it's another hardware encoder), but with your APU, it's probably going to be needed.

720p@30fps, 2000kbps is the "golden point" for non-partnered casters. You might need to go to 480p@30fps, 2000kbps to maintain quality, due to the poor compression it'll be using.
