Question / Help NVENC No longer working! Driving me insane :(

Hi guys. I've been wanting to start recording again (csgo more specifically) and whenever I try to use NVENC as my encoder, I run into an error. I know my PC isn't the most powerful but I never ran into this problem in the past. In fact, I was able to record CSGO at 60fps EASY just some time last year. I have not tried to record between then and now, up until this point. I do not understand what is going on. Also, whenever I try to record using any other program, my FPS in game also drops from 180 to 30, as if my GPU isn't doing any work at all. This is driving me insane and I'd really appreciate some help guys!

NVIDIA GeForce 840M is code name GM108 which don't have a working NVENC.
Use a different encoder, like intel QuickSync encoder (intel graphics), or x264 (CPU used)

The detection entry in the log just means that it found the encoder in FFmpeg and that your system has the drivers installed for it. It does not currently check to see if your hardware actually supports NVENC.
