NVENC Error: Too many concurrent sessions. Try closing other recording software which might be using NVENC such as NVIDIA Shadowplay or Windows 10 Game DVR.

I need some input on this one. This has been happening a lot more lately. It's very random and I can't figure it out. I have disabled shadowplay and game DVR and this error still pops up when trying to go live. We record with x264 and stream with Nvidia Nvenc H.264. We are using Zoom for live guest shots as well but don't record with Zoom. We also use restream to send to all platforms. Any help would be appreciated.

Given the huge amount of media sources and huge amount of scenes, and the "NV_ENC_ERR_OUT_OF_MEMORY" GPU error while trying to start streaming for the first time, I would say your setup exhausted the resources (memory) of your GPU. Try to simplify your setup. Remove media sources and scenes. The videos are all set to hardware decoding - try to disable hardware decoding for them to move some load to the CPU.

Follow directions/recommendations.
Verify all the plugins you may have install in OBS if they need to be updated or are compatible with latest versions of OBS.

Finally, you most probable need to clean re-install nvidia drivers. When tthe installer starts you'll be faced to sellect between 2 tipes of instalations, select custom and then in the new window in the lower left corner, click on the option to perform a clean install. There's another way to do this using a third party uninstaller but I can't remember where's the guide for it.
