Okay , I just bought a refurbished alienware r3 15 and I am trying to record games on OBS. These are the settings and my laptop config is intel i7 7700hq ,gtx 1060 (6 gb VRAM) & 16 GB of DDR4 ram.
for some reason when I use OBS studio to record and stream games the video is laggy & choppy with NVENC H.264 codec.In the log file it is showing 53% lag. I wanted to know is it because of G sync this is happening ? or is it something else. Please help out if anyone knows , thanks.I recorded on shadow play but it didn't have any issues.
I have also uploaded my log file for reference.
Edit : I unchecked SLI/crossfire in game capture and the number of lagged frames changed to 2.5 % ,still working on removing that 2.5%
