I am new to OBS and signed up to record old cassettes from a VHS. I have managed to do this with the help of a Youtube video but each time I start recording there is a popup that appears stating "Broadcast changes have been detected. Your are recommended to re-tune your TV and update the channel list. Press OK to start Auto Tuning". The problem is that I am using a laptop, not a TV and there is no 'OK' icon to click. I palyed back the recording in the hope that the opoup didn't record but it did. I can't get rid of the pop up. Can anyone help?

Seems more like something the VCR would do, than OBS. If that's the case, then what's behind it is already gone by the time it even gets to OBS. You have to fix it in the VCR.

Thanks for your response. I don't think that the problem is with the VCR because I can connect the VCR direct to a TV or a desk top monitor and play the tape without a problem, i.e. the picture is fine minus the offending popup

That's not something that OBS does.

Are you using a different connection on the VCR for each display? They do sometimes show different things on different plugs.

I'm using a HDMI cable direct to the TV/monitor but going through a Videl Capture device when connected to my laptop
