Notify camera operator that he is online

Can anybody share experience with that. I mean let's say I am streaming using 3 or 4 cameras, all of theme are being operated by someone. Maybe there is a solution how to let the operator know, that a scene in OBS with his camera is activeted right now.

Simple give him information that he is online right now so he should keep the view until the scene is changed.

Two of the simplest possibilties:

1. Have a monitor in the room/hall that shows the live (outgoing) program which can be observed by the camera operators. So they know if them are online.
2. Build a simple intercom system for you (as the image montage responsive) and your cam op's. The simplest solution is to have public mobile radio (pmr "walkie talkies") with small earsets (like those security people wear).

The last-mentioned we had for two or three years now on a "small open-air" showing that with an audience of 400 or more people (and four people wearing those sets) nobody else at the event got knowledge of those "silent whispering". That way the director's wishes could be secretly delivered to two or three cam op's. Occasionally they answered back to the director if something was in the line of sight or couldn't realized.

And: it helps team building... :)
