Bug Report Not sure if OBS or twitch issue.

I have this problem where recordings of my broadcasts aren't being captured properly. The sound for my game (league of legends) never cuts out, but randomly sometimes my highlights/past broadcasts will fail to have my microphone audio in them. This, at first made me think it was twitch's fault, but I figured I would double check here for any workaround.

My stream viewers can hear me when I'm live, so I know it's picking up my microphone. I have it identified as (microphone 6 logitech usb headset) in audio settings. The problem again, is not that my microphone isn't working, the problem is that at random times my highlights/past broadcasts my microphone audio will not be present in the video.

Here's the twitch link: http://www.twitch.tv/cloudcarry/c/3006650?t=7m30s
Somewhere around 8 minutes the audio from my microphone is completely gone, but my viewers could hear me as I was live. This effects me a great deal because all of my lessons are being wasted if my students don't get to see it live. Any support on this issue would be greatly appreciated (and yes I know it may not be your guy's fault, maybe a problem specifically with my setup).

Also, any recommendations to make my stream even more optimized? I have tried messing with some settings and gotten good success. Still wondering what my bitrate should be set at and whatnot. I stream it at 720 and have very high settings for everything in game except I have shadows turned off and hud animations. I am open to suggestions.

I am not sure why you make a highlight of a 4 hour VoD, but the original VoD does not have any of your microphone audio on it: http://www.twitch.tv/cloudcarry/b/465884478
The VoD from 2 days ago has both Game and your Microphone audio. You could check your logfiles and see if you used a different OBS version or different settings. Also Jim just released a new test version with a Microphone fix, you might wanna try this but I am not sure if it is related to your problem.
But at the moment I would say your voice was not on the livestream. Twitch just records what you send to it and it cannot remove your Voice as it is mixed with game audio on the same channel.

Yea, that log file seems to check out, and yes, there was actually a mic bug that could happen in 0.57 that was fixed with 0.571, but it was almost always mentioned in the log when it did happen, so not entirely sure yet. It should almost always log it if mic stops working, but strangely in that log, it didn't. Perhaps the wrong log? Not entirely sure.
