Question / Help Not recording or streaming

I just downloaded 0.11.1 for OSX and I can neither record nor stream. I've searched and seen nothing to even point me in a direction for what the problem might be. Help please?

What happens when you try to record or stream? When you say you "can't", what exactly does that mean?

The issue seems to be the Sample Rate of 22.05 khz which isn't compatible with the CoreAudio AAC Encoder.
Set the Sample Rate to 44.1 khz in the audio settings of OBS and the issue should be solved.

(Tried it under Windows with CoreAudio and your settings and I'm getting the same errors.)

I'm also having a rough time trying to get OBS set up. It seemed to work fine yesterday, then just refused to record anything today. I have the log file here, if anyone can translate it for me.

Something that worked for me is I went into my settings and chose software x264 as my enocder instead of NVENC (or it could be something different in your situation.) You can change that setting in the output tab (atleast that is where it is for me, I use simple output mode.) Hope this helps!

I honestly don't know what is up with mine as well. I am glad I have OBS classic for now though.
