Question / Help Not Recording Mic and Game at the same time

So after setting up OBS Studio watching a guide so I wouldn't mess too much up, I tried recording. For some reason, it won't record the game audio and my mic audio at the same time. If I don't say anything when I start the recording, the game audio will record and you can't hear me once I start talking. If I talk at the beginning, it won't record the game audio at all but you can hear me the whole time. Any ideas?

Just tried lowering it, and nothing has changed. Also, just found out WMP plays the mic audio, and BluRay Player plays the game track. Filmora only sees one track (which Filmora may not support more than one track, idk), and plays the game audio. Sorry, new to all this still.

So you have multitrack audio enabled and you're only playing one track at a time.

WMP is junk for media format support.

Test with VLC.

Because you're using multitrack audio.
If you want both playing together put them both on the same track in the mixer.

I didn't want to create another thread to avoid multiple threads with the same issue, so I'm piggy backing on this one. If I was wrong to do so, just let me know.

It seems I may have the same problem. When RECORDING. The audio from my el gato cuts in and out, when I'm talking (when the mic is being used) I tried to understand what you guys were talking about. Unfortunately I didn't quite understand.

I'm using an el gato gamecapture hd, a blue snowball mic, earforce px22 headphones, and a logitech c920 webcam. (all through USB)

I've tried tinkering with settings and I guess I just don't know what I'm doing.

Sorry, I need to add, those logs i posted. The audio wasn't working at all. Sorry, This log is where it seems to at least get somewhat the audio.

I realize I'm running simple. But after tinkering, I don't know how to use multiple audio tracks or if thats even what I should be doing.
