Question / Help Not recording 60fps

I have set my recording to record 60 fps in all games. Minecraft works perfectly fine, it records the 60 fps and stays consistent. However, when i record Overwatch or CoD, the recording becomes very choppy and doesn't stay a constant 60 fps while recording. Does it have to do with my 2 monitors? My primary monitor is running at 144Hz and the secondary one is at 60Hz.

When you are playing a game, the faster CPU, GPU, memory and screen refresh the better your experience. Right?

But that is playing a game.

When you record or stream with OBS, you are limited to up to what the streaming provider requirements are. On YouTube, that is 60FPS.

If your game is pumping out 100FPS and OBS is capturing 60FPS, you are losing data and its going to look choppy. There is nothing you can do about this. You leave it in the hands of the encoder and YouTube to do the best they can in making things look better.

Is it really? Cause recording some games that go above 100 fps (like minecraft) records perfectly fine, but when it comes to other games, it doesn't do the same
