First and foremost I have a HD60 Pro.
Second, I'm not trying to record @ 240fps, I'm just trying to play on 240hz on my gaming pc/monitor.
First PC:
240hz monitor
Second PC:
60hz monitor
Every time I clone my HD60 pro, my 240hz monitor gets locked to 60hz when on fullscreen applications. It's odd because NVIDIA control panel says I'm on 240hz and even my cursor speed is 240hz when I'm on my desktop, but as soon as I enter a fullscreen application, my 240hz monitor feels like 60hz.
I've even tried a trick in a video I saw where I used OBS to send a Fullscreen Projector Preview to my capture card, but refresh rate still felt 60hz.
I provided screenshots of my nvidia settings, in case if I cloned incorrectly.
I've been using a 240hz monitor for almost 3 years; I know when I'm not getting a high refresh rate.
After doing some research I'm assuming that the two solution I have are:
A. Upgrade to a 4k60 El Gato (cheaper)
B. Upgrade to another 240hz monitor so refresh rate doesn't get capped (more expensive).
I need some clarification and please let me know if my assumptions were correct/incorrect or if I cloned incorrectly or if there is another method I'm missing.
