Question / Help Not Downloading DLL File

When I try to install OBS, my computer displays an error reading:


Error opening file for writing:

C:\Program Files (x86)\OBS\plugins\GraphicsCapture\GraphicsCaptureHook.dll


I ignored the error and OBS was working except for game capture (Starcraft 2, LoL). Could this file be causing them not to work?

And how do I download this missing file?
 
Yes, that is why game capture isn't working anymore.

You can always uninstall/reinstall, or download the zip manually from the download page.
 
I uninstalled and reinstalled OBS and the stream still shows up black. I am using a Game Capture Source and the Source is set to Starcraft 2, which is open. The box next to the source is checked. Any tips?
 
I did, still nothing. I watched videos on how to do it and for them it just works perfectly. Do you think it has anything to do with my settings?
 
I'd say uninstall, delete the contents of your C:\Program Files\OBS folder, C:\Program Files (x86)\OBS folder, and %appdata%\OBS, then reinstall.
 
I did all of this, and still nothing. Is another program needed to make it work? Would it be easier if I were to show you on stream? If you have time for that that is.
 
Never mind, I figured it out. My laptop was using both graphics cards so it wasn't getting the right input from the game. Thank you for your help though
 
Uninstall, reboot, and reinstall.

If you have more issues, please make a new thread. No need to necro threads from 2013.
