Not displaying full camera image on Video

I apologize if the is elementary, but I am new to this OBS thing and I am trying to figure it out. I have an Emeet Smartcam S600 and I have it connected and can view the image/video. What I am having trouble with is it is not showing the whole picture. It seems like it is zoomed in, but none of the settings seem to fix my issue. When I go to settings it shows the full picture, but on the UI screen preview and recording it only shows a portion. I can move the checkered box around to see more of the captured area, but I get it to lock onto the whole camera view. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That camera can do 4K (typically 3840 x 2160) resolution at 30 frames per second, or 1920 x 1080 resolution at 60 frames per second.

If you have your OBS canvas set to 1920 x 1080 (usually the default), but the camera configured at 3840 x 2160, then the camera image is larger that the canvas.

Two ways to resolve:
  • Configure the camera for 1920 x 1080 resolution. This will also increase the camera frame rate from 30 to 60, which may or not matter to you depending on what rate you want to stream or record at.
  • Or, resize the camera source in each OBS scene that uses it:
    • select a scene that contains the camera source
    • click on the camera source
    • if it is locked (padlock), click the padlock to unlock it
    • click anywhere in the camera image in the Preview (if you are in Studio mode) or Program view
    • Press Ctrl-F (on PC. Probably Cmd-F on Mac?). That should set the size of the source to match the canvas.
