Question / Help Not being able to edit OBS videos

When I record using OBS, everything is fine. But when I attempt to edit that video, it won't show up in my folders. It will have a explorer logo on it. I have tried using windows movie maker and DaVinci but both do not work so I figured it had to do something with OBS. Please help!

You haven't posted a log as requested when you post in the forums.

You also don't identify what format/container you're bringing into those video editors, or if they work in VideoLan's VLC player.
