I'm trying to capture Logic Pro from my Macbook Air, and record it to my PC via OBS and USB 3.0. I'm 90%sure that OBS is not the issue, but I'm unsure what to do next since the ripsaw didn't work, and the other device didn't work.
I tried Razer Ripsaw, but the sound would not work. I tried out another capture card I got for a pretty good price (I nabbed it for $38) knowing the picture quality would still be poor, but All I really care about is outputting sound to my PC. The same issue that happened with the ripsaw happened here too.
"Capture Audio Only" and "Output To Desktop" both failed for me, and I've even tried multiple HDMI cords.
Should I use A PCIe card, and what are some that play nice with OBS under $150? I have absolutely no intention of capturing any consoles as I record games from my single gaming PC via NVENC, and I only need a capture card to capture my Macbook Air and the sound that comes from it. I honestly don't even need it to be 30fps, and I can take or leave 1080p at this point.
Is Virtual Machine an option? And how laggy is it for those who tried it.
At this time, all of my USB 3.0 ports are being used. would something like that affect anything?
