Question / Help Noisegate / White Noise issues

Hey all,


I'm having some issues with white noise. I'm using a brand new samsung meteor mic with a pop filter.

I have attached a picture of my noise gate settings, as well as a clip. After I get done speaking, there is white noise for a couple of seconds before the noise gate threshold drops.

Any way to keep my noise gate open at all times with NO white noise? Or what is the best way to get rid of the white noise?

Noise gate isn't there to remove background noise. You're going to need to switch to obs studio in order to get rid of the background noise with the new filter for it.
