noise suppression too strong?

i noticed that every time i laugh/scream the noise gets cut off from my mic when using the noise suppression filter, is there a way to enable noise suppression while also being able to make loud noises, i use the samson q9u usb i make/record gaming videos with friends that typically have me yelling or making some obnoxious noise, my clips are ruined when my voice isn't being detected and cutting in and out whenever something funny happens
