Question / Help No Video.

Welp, I don't really know what to say, I have barely touched the program, all I did was set it to window capture and clicked the appropriate window (that wasn't full screen) I had set it to lossless quality (because I have the space) And I record, that's all. Brief clips, clips I can't really replicate, and the preview window showed that everything was fine.

And I eventually looked at the videos, and for some reason, it simply refused to record the video, it recorded the sound just fine! But not the video.

Two questions, how do I curb this ridiculous issue now? And can I recover those files?

See, I've had this issue before, with an unrelated avi file that I've put up into gmail, when I downloaded it on my computer, no picture, when I downloaded it on my phone, I got picture, is there a way to recover this picture? When I tried opening it in quicktime, it said I required additional content, but it gave me a broken link.

If you're playing back a file created with OBS but there's no audio or there's no video, try using VLC instead - http://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.html

That said you would probably be better off using the indistinguishable quality preset.
