Question / Help No Video

So I set up my OBS had it all working and good. I come back a few days later and try to preview a stream make sure everything is working and bam black screen for game capture. I can do moniter just fine that all works but game capture all I get is a black screen in preview and while streaming. I get audio from the game but no video and I dont understand it.

My OBS has been doing the same thing for awhile. As you can see in the changelog (and the picture if it sends) GameCapture in OBS has been having an issue with seeing games with D3D9, or any DirectX game in general. They say they fixed it, but I believe there wrong. Just give it another week or so before they push out another update that can fix this issue for windows 8.1 users.

I actually switched it into window mode and captured it that way even though it left black sides and bottom I didnt actually stream it but I got it to work at least

Yeah, window capture works, but being unable to use game capture for certain games that say, can't go windowed mode, sucks. Aswell as it gets rid of the purpose of streaming fi you can't stream the game...but now, we wait.
