No video source since iOs 17 update

Hello guys,

I'm using OBS on a windows computer. We've got some iPads from our boss so I have been really glad to use these actually because this way I didn't need to buy a expensive camera. That's why i was using the iPad and the FILMIC PRO app together with a capture card to have video signal input in my stream. But since I have updated my iPad to iOS 17 it won't work anymore. I also updated my computer and the filmic pro app but without a result. First I got responded with a QR code on my screen and a massage: USB Wired Device for iOS v4.3.2 60fps, now I'm seeing no such thing anymore. I've tried several different setting options such as setting up the fps in my filmic pro app up to 60 fps, too. But nothing happend.

I'm quite clueless and I haven't got any more ideas. So maybe one of you guys have a solution for my problem. Please notice that I'm working as a teacher in a school with limited financial options ... =)

I appreciate your help.

Greets

This is probably the wrong forum to be asking, as obviously an iOS induced changed.
I'd start with my go to troubleshooting approach... test Sources completely outside of OBS Studio first

1. Is FILMIC Pro app updated for iOS 17? FILMIC PRO's FAQ says they don't support livestreaming??? but FAQ also over 3 years old, so maybe just not updated??
2 or, has video output settings (defaults) changed since iOS 17 update? (ie changed to something you aren't expecting/capture card doesn't automatically change to?)

As a quick check of FILMIC PRO app website indicated improved on device film recording options, but NOT for turning iOS device into a webcam... how are you getting live video out of iPad to OBS Studio? FILMIC PRO clean HDMI out with HDMI adapter? if yes, have you plugged the HDMI into a monitor and confirmed video actually getting out of device?
